Oscar Salinas has proudly called the Grandview area home for nearly 20 years. What began as a temporary move quickly became permanent as he and his wife, Stephanie—a Grandview native—chose to raise their family in a close-knit community. Today, they live on her family’s land in the home her father was raised in, a place rich with history and meaning. Married for over 26 years, they have three grown children and enjoy spending time with their family, including their grandchildren.
With over 16 years of experience in accounting and tax, Oscar earned his Master of Professional Accounting degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2010 and became a licensed CPA in 2017—an achievement he proudly shares with his daughter, who earned her CPA license the same year. After working with several firms locally and remotely, Oscar built a strong client base serving family and friends, which ultimately led to the formation of Oscar Salinas CPA LLC in March 2025. His office, located in the historic Whitten Building in Grandview, officially opened in December 2025 with a Christmas Parade open house, marking an exciting new chapter of serving the community.
Oscar is an active member of The Gideons International and attends Grace Baptist Church. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, camping, and volunteering, with a growing interest in local mentorship opportunities. Many in the community also recognize Oscar for his work as a DJ and sound technician, supporting events like Jumpstart Johnson County’s Talent Competition.
Deeply invested in the future of Grandview, Oscar is passionate about supporting local businesses and strengthening the local economy. He believes in the importance of choosing local services and is committed to helping small businesses grow, scale, and succeed—ensuring the community continues to thrive for years to come.
